Animal skins are called hides. First Nations people used these to make clothes and shelters. Preparing the hides was a difficult process.
First, they cut the skin off a dead animal, such as a deer or buffalo.
Next, they would anil, or stake, the skin into the ground. Then, they scraped off the fur with tools made from rocks, bones, or metal. After that, they tanned, or softened, the hide by rubbing it with special oils and soaking it in water. Next, they stretched it out to dry. Finally, they smoked the hide to give it color and keep it soft.
Q) Based on the information in paragraph 2, what can be inferred about First Nations people?
A) They lived outdoors.
B) They lived in cities.
C) They used tools.
D) They sold the hides.
답은 A번인데, C 아닌가요?
with tools made from rocks, bones, or metal 이라는 부분때문에 c 라고 생각하셨다면 , 만일 with special oils and soaking it in water 라는 부분때문에 they used oils. 라는 오지선다가 나왔다면 문제가 되겠죠.
다시 말씀드리자면 이부분은 단락 전체를 대변하지 못하고 너무 지엽적인(나무가지) 부분을 언급하고 있다고 생각합니다.
