One day the merchant came to see the rich man. He expressed his wish to sell his merchandise to him. He agreed because the merchant had very good wares and sold it for a small profit only.

이문장에서 sold it 이 맞나요? it 가르키는 것이 wares아닌가요? 복수로 them 일것같은데요?
