1. half’s should be assembled using supplied hardware with anti-sieze on threads and torque using a symmetrical center out pattern.

2. the contact area between the upper & lower split line faces running inward between the internal and external split-line bolt holes and continuing across the seal face and seal bores. (the seal area must have a continuous bluing contact to be acceptable by placing the upper half on the lower half.)
