Family life us equally varied in Indian states. India is a country with many states in which people are from different cultures, and so on. The languages, clothing, customs, andn traditions of people are influenced by the respective regions they live in. Most of the families in India are extended ones, in which every member has his or her own role, often influenced by age and gender. Children are cherished and considered as gifts from God. Children can look forward to continual fanily support throughout their lives. However, they are expected to respect their elders and parents, thire wishes and family relationships. The family structure in India is typical, in which there are many wedding customs, which have to be strongly followed by people. Religion, social status, traditional practices, and regional differences influence family structures. Indians are more emotionally attached to the members of their family. Husbands and wives are not allowed to openly display their affection for one another.

문장 사이에 있는 in which의 용법을 잘 모르겠습니다.
문법책에서 보면 앞에 장소가 있어서 in which가 where이랑 동등하게 쓰인다고 하는데
여기서 문장을 보면 in which앞에 있는 단어가 장소에 해당되지 않더라구요...
여기에 쓰인 in which의 문법을 자세하게 알려주시면 정말 감사하겠습니다!!!
또한 in which 앞에 어떤 곳은 콤마를 붙이고 안붙이는데
