해석이 어렵네요~부탁드립니다.Light pollution is wasted artificial light ; light that shines where it is neither needed nor wanted, which is justified by security, and the common belief that the brighter the light, the better.
The most modern street lights divert light away from the street, however, and shine it directly into the sky and this makes the nights sky brighter and our streets dimmer. As a result, in England a man was killed when a store floodlight blinded a car driver and in Australia, ill-directed lighting surrounding an airport caused a fatal air crash. So we should make sure our home or business lighting only shines where it is needed and with proper power, without wasting light upwards into the sky, or outwards into neighbouring homes.
