For twenty years John Gray was just another unknown tour operator guiding customers through remote jungle rivers by sea kayak, pointing out monkeys and rare birds.
(A)That is when the trouble started. Soon greedy businessmen arrived from as far away as Bangkok. Eventually no fewer than nineteen competitors had set up shops, which ruined the place at an alarming rate.
(B)Stunned by their crystalline waters and exotic fish stocks, he launched a classic eco-tourism company, making sure not to upset the fragile ecosystems. The tours were a hit, and word began to spread.
(C)That all changed when the unknown operator discovered a series of attractive tidal sea caves and isolated lagoons about a mile off the coast of Phuket, Thailand. They were absolutely perfect.
1.there were no tour guides in jungle rivers except John Gray
2.John Gray was attracted by the coast of Phuket

not to upset the fragile ecosystems
